Site of the Symposium:
The symposium will be held in the International Conference
Hall and the Jinghu (Mirror Lake) Hotel, a very nice and quiet hotel facing a
lake, inside the Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU).
Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, It’s famous for its
cooking, embroidery, bamboo ware, tea and etc. Balmy, often misty weather keeps
Chengdu green and full of flowers year round. It is a natural habitat of giant
pandas. The National Giant Panda Breeding Center is located adjacent to the
city.
After
the symposium, a sightseeing tour will be arranged for the participants and
accompanying persons to visit Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, both of which are
internationally known natural reserve scenic areas, the UNESCO listed natural
heritage sites, as well as the world biosphere reserve.
